TNT (Trinitrotoluene) is a block that is used in both Survival and Creative mode. It can be easily described as a wooden crate with a large label upon all sides with the writing TNT.
In Survival mode, you can use it as a weapon, against hostile mobs, such as zombies or pumpkin heads. You can ignite it with Flint and Steel, and go to a safe location, before it blows up. It has a radius of 4-5 blocks.
In Creative mode, you do not need to worry about getting blowed up! It can be only used as a decor block.
