A Coal Ore is a block of granite with Coal inside it.

Coal Ore is mined from the caverns and dungeons using Pickaxe.

Note: all type of ores require special tools for succesful mining of the mineral. If not right tools are used, the mineral is lost.

Use Coal to craft Torches.
